You can't do that with a shared server, so that takes you into the big money VDI solutions if that is something that you want. We would be going the windows route seeing as thats what we run currently and the less it differs for users the less headaches I get.Saving money? Not likely. Quite honestly, we dont even know where to start, but we see financial benefits (being able to replace one computer for ~$110) and the benefits of standardization of software and being able to roll back the OS if they mess it up. Devon has good ones too (they used to make for Dell before Dell got Wyse, pun intended.) Are you looking at different thin clients? HP and Dell/Wyse have good lineups of traditional thin clients.
